February is the month where Naples welcomes thousands of runners to the Napoli City Half Marathon, which has always shown the hospitality of this city and its running tradition. This year it will not be possible to organize a mass event, for this reason we have worked to offer an innovative experience, the Napoli Digital Running Festival, a virtual event that will involve runners from all over the world and of any level.
HOW IT WORKS
Registrations are open from the 7th to the 28th February, runners can choose to run one or more of the three race distances, Half Marathon 21,097km, Twingo Relay (10 + 11,097km) and Family Run & Friends 5 km.
Napoli Running want to make the event a challenge opened to everyone, and for this reason it will be possible to run the distance in one day or in several training sessions.
Runners will just need to provide the proof of their run or walk by tracking their performance on a GPS tracker or with an app such as Strava, Runkeeper, Garmin or other. And they will need to upload the results in the official platform of the event.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION
All the participants to the Napoli Digital Running Festival will receive the digital race materials (personalize bib number and finisher diploma), the medal posted to the runner’s home, the spotify playlist of the event and the access to the virtual expo.
VIRTUAL EXPO
It is at the Expo that the race journey begins, collecting the bib number, visiting the stands and talking with runners. This is why we have built a virtual Expo where everyone, safely from their own home, can experience those emotions in a different way. There will be training tips, tourist videos of Naples, tips on what to see, what to eat, exclusive contents of the partners and much more.
E-SHOP
Runners registered to the event will have access to the Napoli Running shop, where they can buy the adidas T-shirt, the ‘All Runners Are Beautiful’ sleeves and running jackets, the Family Run & Friends t-shirts.
